Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

Dresses can take from a couple of weeks to a couple of months to arrive. It depends on the supplier.

When you have placed an order, we will contact you to let you know about how long it will take to arrive. Alternatively, you can contact us to get an estimate before you place an order.

If you place an order that will take longer than 3 months and you need it earlier, you will have the option of choosing another dress or getting a refund.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Orders are shipped with Australia Post or DHL depending on your location.

All Australia Post orders have authority to leave your parcel in a safe place. All DHL parcels require a signature upon delivery.

Valley Bridal is not responsible for any delays caused by Australia Post or DHL, especially during high volume seasons or due to COVID-19

Return & Exchange Policy

If you are ordering online for the first time, or unsure about your size or have questions about a particular style or colour, Valley Bridal recommends contacting our friendly customer care for assistance PRIOR to making a purchase.

The following Returns Policy is drafted in accordance with Australian Consumer Law which is overseen by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission in Australia.

 

 

RETURNS

​

It is absolutely important to us that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. That is why we offer an exchange or credit note in cases which: 

  • The item does not fit you

  • You have simply changed your mind

Provided that:

  • The item is unworn and in original condition 

  • You notify us within 7 days from date it was delivered

  • Your name is on the back of the return parcel OR your invoice is included in the return parcel

  • Australian customers MUST ship the item back to us within 14 days of receipt of the package once the return is approved by us

  • Absolutely no returns accepted on items returned to us with makeup/tan marks. If this is the case, the package will simply be returned back to the customer.

 

Any credit notes will be issued in the form of a code which can be used at the checkout to purchase a replacement.

Please note all return shipping costs need to be covered by the customer except in cases where the item is confirmed to be faulty by our team. If this is the case, we will refund your shipping costs.

To create a return, please email us at valleybridalranelagh@gmail.com. We will then send you our returns address in Tasmania, Australia.

* We do not offer refunds for change of mind or wrong size choice, however we can provide you with a credit note equivalent to the price of the item/s you purchased.  

 

 

REFUNDS

​

We treat every order with absolute care and pack them with precision and love to make sure they are in a good condition. However in the unlikely case of an item being delivered faulty or not as advertised, we will happily provide you with a refund, exchange or credit note provided:

  • You notify us within 7 days from delivery date providing a description of the fault in your items along with pictures as proof via email to valleybridalranelagh@gmail.com

  • Your claim of the faults have been reviewed and approved by our staff 

  • The item is unworn and in original condition with all the tags still attached

  • The item has absolutely no marks or stains (including makeup and spray tan)

  • The item does not have any odour (including deodorant, perfume, body odour or washing powder)

  • It has not been worn to an event

  • The item has not been altered, shortened or had cups added etc

  • A receipt and proof of purchase is available

  • Australian customers MUST ship the item back to us within 14 days of receipt of the package once the refund is approved by us

 

Please note: Once your refund has been approved by our staff you will receive our returns address in Tasmania, Australia. Refunds will be made via the payment method you chose.

For faulty items we will also cover the return shipping costs. Simply email a photo of the postage receipt for reimbursement.

Valley Bridal reserves the right to reject returns beyond the return period limit, or items which are not in the original condition in which they were received. If this is the case, the package will be simply returned back to the customer and any shipping costs involved will not be covered by Valley Bridal.
